Daly is a member of the Confederation of Construction Specialists, an organisation that champions construction specialists within the construction industry.

The CCS defines a Specialist construction company as a company or firm engaged in one or more types of specialist building, civil engineering, building services, finishing, supply or other construction related work.

The CCS provides an independent voice for all types of specialist construction companies within the construction sector and is dedicated to serving the real interests of Specialist companies. Its 3 principle objectives are:

• To encourage the early involvement of its members in the process of building procurement.
• To campaign for a fair apportionment of risk in all contracts.
• To ensure greater awareness by the industry of the crucial contribution that Construction Specialists make to the quality of the built environment.
